Friday’s adventure took us to charming Adairsville! A quaint, historic little town beaming with character. On the way into town we swung by Fresh Donuts which offered an assortment of delicious, fresh donuts at a very reasonable price. The owners were friendly and the service was exceptional, we highly recommend stopping by for a sweet morning treat! Next we ventured over to the stunning Barnsley Resort where we did a self guided tour around the grounds, which included a beautiful golf course, spa, historic ruins, a farm, several restaurants and a variety of accommodations. If you’re looking for a place to truly unplug and kick back, look no further! After leaving the resort, we headed toward historic downtown Adairsville. Tiny, but beautifully kept with several antique stores and a lovely little tea room, Maggie Mays. Also nearby are several hiking trails and historical sights that are definitely worth visiting. This sweet little Georgia gem was the perfect way to start our adventures!
